The psychic was a local woman. Basically, she told me I would bounce back and forth between gender preference (which I already knew), that I had some psychic ability (which I already knew), and that I was going to be famous (which I'm not sure about).
I'm convinced she was credible because when I asked about my dead grandmother, I mentioned I thought she was watching Beauty and the Beast with me when I saw it at a local show. Grandma would watch it with me when I was little, and whenever the Beast would get turned back into a human, she'd say, "There's that light again." The psychic asked me if she had touched my neck at the show, and I started crying because I had felt a hand there right at the light part.

That is so sweet! I am a g'ma, so I do love to hear these g'ma stories. As for the psychic, I'd say that if she got two out of three right on like that, and if she told you that about your grandma, then I guess you'd just better start practicing writing your autograph. What talents would you be famous for?

I did it. I cut out part of a book to use as a secret place. Its a children's dictionary I dont' use very much anymore, i use webster's complete one now, so it's not that big of a deal, but actually defacing a book...

I actually made my own book safe out of a real book too, Hermione, some time ago. It's not as easy as it sounds, is it? :D

it really isn't. it took me all day and i had a lot of paper to recycle, and all the cutting out got frustrating. but now i have a nice book safe and it doesn't even look like a book saefe except to me!

that about the phsychic is cool!

I'm a writer. ^^ It's kind of weird, because a bunch of kids in my class are absolutely convinced I will be as famous as Stephen King one day, and they can't be persuaded otherwise. I pointed out that it's more luck than talent that gets you places, but one boy made me promise to mention him in one of my aknowledgement pages, LOL. Honestly, I think they're also easily impressed. I don't think I'm as good as they think I am, although I don't think I'm necessarily bad either.
It's nice to believe that I'll be an overnight sensation, but even being somewhat well-known takes a lot longer than that, unless you're J.K. Rowling. Which I'm not. In the meantime, I am planning on attending college to become an English teacher. My grandmother (the one I mentioned earlier) was supposed to be a teacher, but she got tuberculosis and wasn't allowed to return to college. And I like kids. So I figured I'd take more or less the same classes if I was a writing major, and here I am, looking at colleges.

LOL. Sure thing! It'll be screen names, most likely, but you'll know who you are. When I get published, I'll probably tell everyone what my real name is, but my parents aren't real comfortable with that right now. They don't ask for much so I respect their wishes.
