Seeing as how you like historical fiction, perhaps you will enjoy the series of books by Philippa Gregory, beginning with The Other Boleyn Girl.

There are two other books in the series, The Queen's Fool (focused on Queen Mary Tudor) and The Virgin's Lover (focused on Elizabeth I). The books really can be read in any order, though, I don't think that you will miss anything by beginning with the last one to be published.

sorry for double posting, but i jsut had to say something! i rad queen's own fool a couple of years ago, when i was about 10 and i thoroughly enjoyed it. i didn't know she wrote the virgin's lover though, and ill read that! as for philippa gregory, i'm planning on reading her books, have been for a while!

well you know the Odyssey and the Iliad are always good. Battle Cry of Freedom is cool too, its about the civil war.

The Queen's Fool is a Philippa Gregory book, so I suppose that you have already read her ;) It's the second in the series about the royal family (if you go in chronological order of the people the books are about, that is)

nope, i haven't read any philippa gregory books..

and i've read the illiad, and we're reading the odyssey in english this year, in school.
