Bookless in Blunderland

s.o.s: living in area of the US that the only newly released books have a pre-teen wizard on the cover! Also musically retarded. Once upon a time, "well read", but out of touch, get info on line, and replenishing library of old favorites, both liturature and music wise, but something new would be nice. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi. I have a few I can suggest. They aren't all "newly released" but they are all good.

House on the Lagoon - Rosario Ferre
Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons - Lorna Landvik
Small Island - Andrea Levy

I'm currently reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. I've only just started it, but it is quite good.

BTW. Where is Blunderland? Is it an actual town name? I'm intrigued.

Welcome to the forum, bluestocking! :) I don't know what books to suggest. I'm mostly reading fantasy at the moment. Do you have any favourite genres?
