Books that haven't been written yet

Sometimes when I have just finished a book and I am trying to find something to read I find myself thinking, wouldn't it be cool if there was a book about.... like why hasn't someone written a fantasy book with a Dragon as the main character or an Elf? Is it because people won't read books like that or because no-one has written them? Or have I just not found any of them yet?

What books would you like to read but no-one has written well/or at all?

Whenever I think I get an original idea I usually find a book on it... For instance A Book Dragon by Donn Kushner.

Sadly this does seem to happen...

And yes this is the solution however far too many the 'freshness' is somewhat lacking.

I am of the opinion that, yes all plots pretty much run a set course and what Authors need to do it instead of telling the same stories from the same peoples point of view they need to tell the story from anothers eyes.
