Books that made you...

6) One book that made you wish had never been written: The Bible. Or the Koran. Or both.

The reason being that those two books between them have been responsible for some of the worst horrors in human history. To say nothing of the "be fruitful and multiply" stuff which is the basis of population increases that the planet can't handle. But if you think it's likely to seriously offend people, I'm quite happy to leave well alone.
IMO, you can't really blame the book(s), just the people and what they take from it. Same as guns - people kill people.

The Tiger Rising
Because I stopped reading Way Long ago and now because of That book, I have been reading for almost 4 hours a day. I finish an 800 page novel in 2 days or so.
