Civil unions of same-sex couples are now legal in another state. The backlash should be fun to watch, especially now that there's a new Pope.
It makes me crazy to hear people get so bent about this. What's the big deal? How does allowing same-sex couples the same legal rights as opposite-sex couples in any way change the world? I really love the arguement that this will somehow effect the "sanctity" of marriage. Where's that come from?
Is there really some fear that heterosexual people are now going to convert to homosexual overnight once it becomes legal to marry somebody of the same sex?
I'm really looking forward to listening to conservative talk radio now.
