So long as it's consensual, I guess.

LOL Still, I see Atwood's having an influence ;) :D

After reading the whole wikipedia article.... It's still just absolutely uncomprehendable, and sick, and all that, though I'm not sure why. There's now all sorts of new animals after inter-species breeding has occured.

As for being consensual, then I'm sure if an animal in question wasn't consenting then she (or he!!) would make their feelings pretty known... depending on the animal of course.

I dunno, is it really worse than Lolita?

Well, yeah, but Lolita was 12 years old, could she really know what she wanted?

And an animal, let's say a goat, 'cause in the OP it was a goat, would probably want it too, because it's animal instinct and all that, but if the goat didn't want to, wouldn't she make sure that man knew she didn't?

:) :)

Lol Steph i am sure animals would have a way of saying no,what way i dont know and to be honest it turns my stomach thinking about it

Am I the only finding totally funny that this goat marrying thread is turning into a 'Lolita" discussion, of sorts? And some people think fiction has no relevance to real life:rolleyes: I love you people:)

You know me so well, steffee!

Mr Alifi, Hai Malakal in Upper Nile State, told the Juba Post newspaper that he heard a loud noise around midnight on 13 February and immediately rushed outside to find Mr Tombe with his goat.

I suppose one would have had to have been there in order to guess whether this "loud noise" was just general jubilation on the parts of the participants, or if the goat was having his or her say of nay in the matter.

You are so right, abc! Some of us are becoming (have become) obsessed with the little Haze girl. I find myself having to bite my tongue (fingers) in almost every post! :D

Oops, me too.

But, is there a significant difference between them? ;)

Well, a goat can't sign a marriage liscence or give consent to marry...*sigh* Why couldn't they just throw him in jail for a couple days or make him pay a fine? MARRY a goat? I mean, bestiality is wrong and all, but they're just making it worse...
