Can't remember the name of it

I heard about an author on and FM radio station in Chicago today, but I couldn't remember the names of the books he wrote or his name. All I know is that his books are comedy and have to do with his teaching (one instance has to do with him eating a bologna sandwich that a student threw on the ground). I think his name is something like Frank McCorn and one book is Writer Dude, although I'm not sure about either one. Can anybody help (I'd really love to read his books, they sound interesting and funny)?
