Chocolate Hob-nobs

Well, after all the numerous comments (Litany) about how great these are - decided I just had to try some.

Finally tracked them down at my local supermarket (hidden way up on a top shelf that I'd never have seen if I weren't looking for them).

Took them home, made myself a cup of tea, opened up the package, and proceeded to eat half the pack! Yummy. Taste kind of like Dad's Cookies, but crumblier. (Do you have Dad's Cookies in the UK?) They'd be good dunked in milk.

Anyways, thought I'd let you guys know that you've added another addiction to my long list of addictions!

Ahh, i have little time at hand right now, but must reply this one!!! :D

CHOCOLATE IS THE ONLT sweet stuff that I love in the world.
(cannot buy myself icecream, --- can annibilate(which term is better  ) them in no more than one day. yes , joking. :) )

Okay, so since I've never seen either hob nobs nor Dad's cookies, can someone please explain what they're like in a bit more detail? I like torture, what can I say?

:D Ell, Ell,

how you say "eaten up" in a funnest way? :)
Aaaah!

Annihilate - as in to obliterate or to devour something! :D

Tigress, they're oatmeal cookies - but thin and crispy.

The description doesn't really do them justice.

If you really want the funniest way, next time say 'gobble'. :D

Mmm, hobnobs. They're sweet and oaty and crunchy. Best with chocolate on, but the plain ones are ok for dunking. They truly are a god among biscuits. Best of all, because they're made from oats, they count as diet food. In my world at least.

They are soooo good. Definitely good diet food Litany. The Hob-Nob diet - I might invent it.

They're quite nice dunked in a cup of tea too!

I was considering creating The Church of the Golden Hobnob. But I figured it would be a bit tricky gathering togethering enough vestal virgins to make it worth my while. Them's rarer than unicorns.

Damn - all this talks given me a Hobnob craving. I wonder if the 24hr garage sells them... I might try and dull the craving with chocolate digestives and triple chocolate icecream til the morning. Hobnobs obviously make for a very nutritious breakfast too - the entirity of Scotland eats Porridge every morning, which is oats... which is Hobnobs!

Incidently everyone I do have a life... there's more to my existance than debating chocolatly snacks on a Friday night!

:p Never would have guessed :D Though don't worry, we havn't been out on a friday night for a while either, we usually go round a friends and entertain ourselves with drinking games until the early hours of the morning (well 7am  ) but since he's off round the world it's been postponed until he comes back :(
