Chocolate Hob-nobs

Friday nights are simply nights to relax after a long hard week at work. Occassionally we'll go out on Friday night, but usually we're both content to just sit home and veg. :D

Finally tracked them down at my local supermarket (hidden way up on a top shelf that I'd never have seen if I weren't looking for them).

Took them home, made myself a cup of tea, opened up the package, and proceeded to eat half the pack! Yummy. Taste kind of like Dad's Cookies, but crumblier. (Do you have Dad's Cookies in the UK?) They'd be good dunked in milk.

Anyways, thought I'd let you guys know that you've added another addiction to my long list of addictions! :rolleyes:

Ok please someone agree with me! Have you heard of jammy dodgers but with chocolate instead of jam? Im sure at some point they brought them out for a wee while.

I love jaffacakes...
 
Sorry never heard of jammie dodgers with choc instead of jam and i buy biscults every week :) But they sound nice anyway :)

I love Chocolate Hobnobs! They go beautifully with a cup of tea!

I've just got some tea now with some Milk Chocolate Digestives, lovely stuff!

Does anybody like Cadbury's Jestives?

Out shopping today i saw jammie dodgers with ribena instead of jam! :)

You are drinking tea and eating something called "digestives"?

I bought and tried some hob nobs today and they were very good, just what I needed another addictive snack food :)
 
People, people! What are you trying to do to me :( Haven't seen hide nor hair of hobnobs, chocolate digestives, jaffa cakes, a decent tea bag in 18 months since saying farewell to my homeland. And now the memories are flooding back - what a tease. Now I'll have to scour the internet for some. I knew I should have avoided a thread with 'hobnobs' in its title - but I just had to take a peak :(

I haven't tried the hobnobs yet but I know what you mean about the addictive snack food, Ronny. Anyone here ever tried Crunch N' Munch? It's like Cracker Jacks, but MUCH, MUCH better. I could EASILY eat a whole box.
