i thought it was a reread? i can never remember the beets and i won a game of balderdash because i knew the name.
yeah i am enjoying invalids. i just love tom robbins.
 
I first read it quite a few years ago.

And what does all this have to do with the pope? :p

i read somewhere that he loved beets and was a great balderdash player. i feel closer to him because of it.
 
I've really had it with the pope overkill... (Though the lightbulbs did make up for something.)

Me neither. It's been 17 years since my last confession, so they were afraid all that bad language and condom use might evaporate the holy water when I entered the building. Oh well...
