Its almost christmas and santa is getting ready to give me all the books I have wished for.
What books do you have on the list you have sent to santa?

Dear santa.

I have been a very good boy this year and the incident with the fire a my brother was not my fault and that old lady was already dying so you can't blame me for that. About that thing with the cat dying that was just an accident I thought it would come out nice and fluffy like some of the clothes my mother washes.
I really wish that you would bring me these books.

PS Sorry I set the dog on you last year but you gave me socks as a present. My dad was so angry because apparently the dog also chased him, I think maybe my dad is afraid of you because everytime you come my dad has just left.

PPS Please don't be upset with Freya she doesn't mean to be mad. I think if you give her a teddy bear she can hug she will be happy.

I know but santa has to get the letter early so he can find all the presents. And I must say with that attitude you're probably not going to get a lot of presents. :D
I just included you in my letter to santa so you can get presents to.

When your birthday is also in December (as mine is) you start making a list early. The rest of you lucky people don't have to plan for everything at once.

Without looking into my very long reading-list, this is the books that first came into my mind:

Gabriel Garcia Marques- Love in the Time of Cholera (No, I haven't read it yet)
John Steinbeck- The Grapes of Wrath
Emily Dickinson- The Complete Poems
Victor Hugo- Les Miserables
This Danish book I read, that hasn't been translated into english yet.
Shakespeare- Julius Ceaser
Jose Mourinho- Made in Portugal (Don't ask!)
And... A Kurt Vonnegut book..
And...
Hmmm. I've gone completly blank.. I think I'll come back to it.
Maybe.. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, since I've heard alot about it around here..

I can highly recommend to you the Shakespeare, Marquez and do try the Hitchhiker guide to the galaxy! It's very funny!
 
You know i started the Marquez book and just got really bored with it after 20 pages - does that make me a bad person, everyone else seems to really enjoy it!! :eek:

There are lots and lots of books on my list, but what I want from Santa are enough bookcases to house my current collection. A house to put said bookcases in would be nice, too. :D

speaking of shopping

anyone know where i can find something by mel calman? my sister wants it for christmas (specifically, The Big Novel or How About a Little Quarrel Before Bed?) PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE help. i have looked everywhere! nada. zilch. does this guy even exist?
