Decapitations

I can't tell you what to do, and I'd like to re-emphasise that I not holding individuals personally responsible. Only you know what you feel able to do and if you want to do anything. I'm a member of Amnesty, but even that feels like a drop in the ocean with all the people dying everyday in wars and suicide bombings, or through poverty and preventable diseases. But it's something, and I don't have to put myself in danger or give up my personal belongings to do it.

So I'd go with Watercrystal's plan, or maybe Mrs Doasyouwouldbedoneby.

And I'd like to reassure you at this point that I'm not as pessimistic as this makes me sound. Human beings are capable of great things, it's just that we seem to be a lot better at the nasty stuff.

usually we cling to those moments of sincerity and awareness, carrying them with us to shore against our fears, but by then they've died and become pieces of memory. so nothing new is ever experienced, just a reincarnation of old experiences, morals--which dull the mind, because awareness requires a great deal of our energy, but fear always more urgent, we try to plan ahead so we're never caught off guard. and so you say killing is wrong, for instance, and your mind becomes so dumb that it can't see past the words themselves, then you're blind and desensitized, and violence becomes just an image you see through a screen.

I was hoping someone would reply with a decent response rather than some typical shit-kicking Yankee gun-toting crap which I've seen on other forums where similar stories occur. Thankyou.

 wondering what do you think about the response?
