Sorry Shade, but even your 3rd generation whatever its name is, doesn't look that special to me. Certainly not special enough to warrant the cost! It looks suspiciously like my mobile phone - which was cheap, and is plasticky. Creative Zen is ugly too though, and that other one, so it isn't just yours ... but I will concede they have some pretty nifty looking speakers and all the other millions of accessories. And they're the kind of design that is so ultra stylish that within three minutes they were bound to look dated.Shade said:I have to disagree with steffee (er, unless you're talking about the iPod minis only, which are a bit plasticky looking, sorry pinkshadow); I think the iPod still looks cool and until recently, for looks it knocked all the competitors (Creative Zen? iRiver??) into a cocked hat.
Shade said:So Stewart, do you object to the monopoly of Apple or to mp3 players in general?
veggiedog said:I don't own an iPod. I think it is a rip-off. I do own an MP3 player that I bought for 12 bucks. It can only hold about 200 songs, but that's plenty enough for me.
Who in the world would listen to 10,000+ different songs in a lifetime much less regularly?
