I have been racking my brains for the title or author of 2 book I read a few years back.
Was a series of 3 - When i read the first two the 3rd had yet to be published.
All I can remember is that the main character lived in the loft of an old warehouse that was above his place of work.
When the main character moved into the "loft" He had to Clean out alot of rubbish from the last owner - Shagpile carpets.... etc.
I'm trying to think what his job was - and something based around Recording studio/Marketing/print management springs to mind.
I am very sure that it was a female author - but can't remember what her name was.
If anyone can help - even with this severe lack of information.
