Fascinating scientific stuff

hmm forgive my cynicism but lets see if this makes it past clinical trials. Seems to me there are a lot of pharmaceutical companies with a lot to lose if a simple solution like this came to market

Well, The Mathematical biology or Biomathematics has been a great tool, for example, in the genetic drift or the Neutral theory of molecular evolution ( Motoo Kimura) . However, I am so surprised with this question:
What happens if you extrapolate backwards to the point of no complexity–the origin of life?
What ??? The RNA's world, the first form of life, is in itself a complexity . I've a basic knowledges in Micorbial Ecology/Genetic of Microorganism and I am still looking for the origin of LUCA .

Researchers of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany, have now investigated which strategies chimpanzees in the Taï National Park in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, use in order to find fruit in the rain forest. The result: Chimpanzees know that trees of certain species produce fruit simultaneously and use this botanical knowledge during their daily search for fruit.
