Feeling like an interloper...

Hi all!

I've been posting on here for a month or so now, but I never really introduced myself. I feel like a bit of an interloper! But now that I have an avatar up, I figured it'd be best if I told you a little about myself (or as much as I'm willing to share :p )

I'm an Australian living in Canada, and I'm doing grad studies out in the boon docks of Moose Land (but they are lovely boon docks!). I couldn't work out what to put as my location, because as much as I like it here, I couldn't deny the Mother Land.

I love to read, but currently don't have as much time as I'd like, what with all the other reading I do for my degree. But being on this forum greatly helps me add to my reading list, and gives me some laughs at the same time. (It also greatly helps me procrastinate when I should be studying... but that's a given, right?)

Other miscellaneous info about me: I am obsessed with stationary; I love the smell of freshly mown grass and freshly sawn wood; Passionfruit cheesecake rocks my world; and I would give my left pinkie toe for a decent meat pie.

So, that's about the extent of what I can think of to say right now! But hi to all!! The first month's been fun, and I hope to continue enjoying what you've all got to say and chipping in my few pennies here and there :D

hi, and it is great to have you here!! a lot of people will feel great, now that they have one more person to talk about australia AND canada!!
enjoy! :D

Hi All! Thanks for the well wishes! If I can work out how to push cheesecake through my network cable I'll let y'all know :D .

No longer feeling like an interloper ;)
