just registered to meet some new book friends. my name is ken from san diego. i was born at a relatively young age, just turned 27, i'm a navy rescue swimmer instructor. like being witty and reading that "stump... pause...." kind of humor. currently interested in "life time reading lists", trying to put one together. any way i'm here... feel free to write.
 
Hey Ken. Good luck with your reading list. I had the idea and then realized I've read thousands of books over the past twenty five years. Now I'm just working on a list starting last July.

The Count of Monte Cristo!! its me! minus all the treasure and sweet revenge. :(

Wow. Interesting, Dumas is easily one of my favorite authors (if not my all time favorite). I've actually never read The Count of Monte Cristo (it is in my stack of TBR though). I've read quite a few of his others though and am in the process of collecting his works.
