I always enjoyed these lyrics. However, I would not claim any set of lyrics to be the greatest.

I like this one, though I really can't call it my favorite. I like so many, but they have to be songs that "I" understand the lyrics. And have to be able to "hear" the words when they're sung.

I really like those lyrics, by Megadeth in "Captive Honour". My brother's in prison, and I'd like to imagine him suffering thusly. I'm also very big on Leonard Cohen. He's got a wonderful voice and his lyrics are great.
