Looking forward to posting here. Any suggestions for a multi layered psychological thriller with brilliant prose and at least a splash of soul? I'm a Patricia Highsmith fan and Gillian Flynn isn't too bad either. Just wish she would run with the witty observations and psychological aspects of story rather than the more macabre. Nothing wrong with it-- just isn't my thing.

Hullo, lotusflower! I'm afraid I know next to nothing about psychological thrillers, though I'd like to try more of them. 'Don't You Cry' by Mary Kubica looks interesting, but as I've never read her work, I can't attest to the macabre vs wit/psychological aspects in her books. Fans of 'Gone Girl' are supposed to like 'Don't You Cry.'

I've seen a couple of your posts here and there. I'm glad there are a few of us keeping things active.
