I have found 129 snails so far and cheerfully popped them into a Morrison's shopping back. Will sell to the highest bidder (the slug pellet poison will surely add to the taste)

Ooo you know, you're not beyond reasonable stalking distance either.

Snails are ok; if you tap their shell they disappear back in it so you can pick them up and throw them away. You can't do that with slugs.
