Happy birthday, MonkeyCatcher. Tell your Nana that the consensus of opinion here on TBF is that she's got a lovely (and bright) granddaughter!

I don't know - I guess it's because sooo much money can be lost there. I don't really mind, I'm not much of a gambler. I only got the scratchy because I wanted an excuse to show my ID and I'm not really that into alcohol and smokes (porn on the other hand... ). They didn't even ask for it in the endKookamoor said:Why is it 21 for the casino, though??
Lol No, in New Zealand you can drive by yourself by the time you are 15 1/2 as long as you get your learners near your 15th birthday (you have L plates for 1/2 a year, and then get your full license 1 year after that in NZ)And can you now drive by yourself? 18 is the age here where you can get your P's (which lets you drive without an accompanying licensed driver for the first time). Drinking and driving permittance given on the same day. It's rather like drive-through liquor stores... it's almost a good idea!
Thanks, SIL It turns out that my hopes were well placed in my Nana, she gave me a whole bunch of book vouchers. YayStillILearn said:Happy birthday, MonkeyCatcher. Tell your Nana that the consensus of opinion here on TBF is that she's got a lovely (and bright) granddaughter!
