We had a food event at church last Wednesday, and one of the teens made pumpkin pie...it was awesome. I'm seriously thinking of hiring her for the holidays, or at least begging her for her recipe so my own daughters and make this pie.

I have a stash of canned pumpkin and evaporated milk in my closet...I never get tired of it. I don't even make pie crust anymore, just eat it as a baked custard. Yum!

I am not overly keen on the crust either..just give me the custard, with plenty of spices, thanks.
