I am planning on reading Enduring Love by Ian McEwan once I am done with Murakami.
Under consideration are Time's Arrow by Amis or The Tin Drum by Grass. I will likely go in that order: McEwan, Amis and Grass.
Also, to add to my first Murakami novel (experience), The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle: It reads like silk and visually, well it's wonderfully crisp, and the story itself keeps you hooked from page-to-page...at least that's in my case so far.
