Hello Fellow readers and writers

Hi all, new member here. I'm a dedicated sci-fi and sci-fact reader and writer. I enjoy the works of Isaac Asimov, Carl Sagan, Ray Bradbury and many more. Also a little mystery, thrillers, action adventure. I wrote and self published my first novel (short story) last October and i'm pretty proud of myself, after all this was my first time out of the gate and you have to walk before you run. I'm currently working on 8 other novels. I'm not going to promote it here, since you're not allowed to, but I have a firm belief that our minds are awesome when it comes to creativity no matter if it's mild or wild...

mostly reader...well 50/50 i got rid of cable and got sick of watching TV since everything is the same old same old, and i've been going to my local library a lot more and downloading from amazon

Can anyone recommend some good sci-fi, adventure novels? I enjoy works that involve space travel, alien worlds, the future, discovery...

The Acorna Series by Anne MCCaffrey is good anything by Dean Koontz as well.
