Hi Polly. I prefer to read the sci fi and thrillers books but I also read some erotic fiction books. I am not oly a reader I'm a writer too. You can find my books in amazon but in a few days i'm goint to put one of them in amazon for free. I'll tell you when you can download it.
Hi Leonardo. I'm from Madrid. What a curious. I was in LA last week. I had some meetings with spanish people who are living in your city. Leonardo, let me tell you that your city is too big. I had to use the car for everything. Here in Spain we can walk all the city. I had to meet with my friends. They told me: "we can meet in Downtown. Broadway with the 9th" I was wainting for them ten minutes, and the police looked at me not very good. I know the downtown is not a "good place" but is the best and more beautiful place for filming. I also were in Beberly hills, Hollywood, Pasadena, griffith park, Rodeo blv, Canon Blv, Santa Monica, Venice, Long Beach, beautiful places.
Thanks a lot Polly, Leonardo for asking.

Haven't read too many thrillers....sci-fi and some fantasy yes....though some fantasy just gets plain long...I mean it's like the publishers try to go for 700+ stories.

L.A. too big

Yes, it is a very spread out city. The reason for this is actually historically interesting. Cities -- such as NYC, San Francisco, and even Seattle -- that were built before the automobile tend to be highly nucleated and geographically smaller (with higher population densities) because people relied on walking and mass transit. Then the automobile was invented and cities became spread out all over the place because people could now easily commute to work from places that had previously been in the middle-of-nowhere.

Hi from another newbie. I had a pen pal many years ago when I was in high school. I wrote to him in Spanish. I only visited Barcelona briefly but fell in love with it. I loved the Gaudi apartment house and wished I could have seen his cathedral. I really want to go back to see more of Spain.
