Hello! newbie here

Hi. I've just joined the site.
I'm currently in middle school. Due to my mom's influence, I started reading when I was just a little kid, and I still am I avid reader. I often go to bookstore to buy books but my country does not speak English, so I have limited options if I want to read English books. So I also buy books from my kindle. and I spend most of my lunch time in my school library.
I prefer fiction, and enjoy good fantasy stories, although I tend to avoid science fiction and romance. I have two favorite books: The city of dreaming books(My love for this book is indescribable <33333333333)and The Book Thief.
I came in to this forums to find good books and to find someone who will listen to me ranting about my favorite books.
English is my second language, so please excuse me if I have grammar/spelling mistakes.

Science fiction and fantasy sort of go hand in hand in a lot of places, so I'm surprised that you avoid science fiction. Perhaps the sci fi you've been exposed to is the wrong sort. See, I love sci fi, but I'm a fan of "soft" sci fi where it's more about the characters not the weird locales (er that means place setting).
