Hi Guys Im new(probably guessed!). Was wondering if we had anyone from Asia here?! Just read Hong Kongs best seller In the Shadow of the Noonday Gun by Mike Smith and wanted to know anyone elses take on it?? For anyone who doesn't know anything of it, its a true series of short stories giving an insight into the corruption in Hong Kong during the 1970s, highly recommended! Nice to meet you all anyway!

What is that book about? There might be some history books that parallel that time period though.
 
Its a true story about corruption in the police during the 1970s. Amazing that people actually got away with it to this extent. Im actually doing a project on corruption and thats why I am interested. If anyone knows of anything similar I would be keen to find out!?
