Just to say, 'Hello' and we (the wifey joined up yesterday - Moneaka) hope to get lots from being here (good reads). Mon and I travel (forever in a departure lounge or on an airplane) a lot, and so like to gather good fodder before we set off.

Fact-based, against the odds stuff: Touching the Void - Operation Mincemeat.

Fact-based fiction that has a well researched story to tell: A Farewell to Arms - The Grapes of Wrath - To Kill a Mockingbird.

Good fiction that is not outright fantasy (of which there is far too much weighing the shelves down nowadays)
