Hello everybody.

My name is Michelle and I am a mum to 2 boys aged 11 (almost the dreaded teens! Argh!) and 8. I have a wonderful husband and am a SAHM and I very recently joined the world of self-publishing.

I love reading and have my nose in a book whenever and wherever possible. I read all kinds of books but mostly horror and crime. I found it very difficult to list just 3 of my favourite authors as there are so many.

As it stands I have a cupboard almost full to the brim with books and have not yet dared to cross over to an eBook reader although the way the cupboard door groans under protest I am sure that will happen sooner rather than later!

I look forward to getting to know everyone

Welcome, Michelle! Your children are the exact same ages as mine! We should compare stories. I'm slow to adopt e-reading as well and much prefer physical, paper books with pretty covers - thank goodness for public libraries!

SuperReaderGirl, how nice to know we have children the same ages. So has your oldest just started high school? Mine is loving it although I am finding it hard to let go that little bit more. Since I posted I have compromised with the ebook phenomena and downloaded the free kindle app onto my tablet. Have yet to download anything though haha. I think I would like to live in a library

I'd love living in a library as well! My oldest just started Middle School (6th grade - 8th). She's definitely struggling with the multiple classes/assignments, but loves the increased maturity & independence so hopefully it will get easier for her. Crazy how fast they grow up!
