Hi Everyone

I'm new to this site and my first post is to ask a big favour. Does anyone have a copy of : "Millenium - A History Of Our Last Thousand Years" by Felipe Fernandez Armesto. I am doing a competition and need some words from the edition published by Black Swan of London.

Can anyone tell me the first 6 words of the last passage on page 553 in Chapter 19.

I don't have the book myself, but you might want to walk into your local library/book shop and look it up real quick. I'm afraid that's the best I can come up with.

Thank's for the reply, I have tried both book shops and library. The Library says there is no copy in my county and are trying to locate one throughout the UK. But this could take up to 4 weeks. I have also tried to buy a copy from Ebay, but the one on offer is by the wrong publisher and has altered page numbering.

I just checked the catalogue of my library, and I'm afraid they only have the translated version. Maybe some of the English-speaking folk on here would care to do the same?
I don't know... I did my best.
