Help...the name of this book...

i remember reading it ages ago. It was a teen fantasy book about a girl who moves to either scotland or ireland to her father where she meets her new stepmother and half-sister. There she meets a boy, gets entangled with celtic lore and finds out about a magical past. Can someone help remember the name, it was a short book...?

It sounds slightly like a book I once read but can't remember the name of... did it by any chance have anything to do with a well leading onto a long passage and some skeletons at the end?
