Alright so, about 3-4 years back, maybe more, I read a book that seemed a little complicated but was nevertheless captivating.
The problem is I would like to re-read this book because I remember the story was sort of cool, but I can't remember title nor author.
I know its a women that wrote it!
And I know the book is Pink and purple, and its part of a series.
In one of the books that is part of a series (the other one is dark purple)
The story takes place in a fantasy world where everyone goes out at the same time everyday, and everyone is the same, some sort of BRAIN controls everyone and they call this brain 'IT'
The girl loses her father someway I don't remember, but finally gets inside a complicated building where she sees him sort of 'paralysed' , he can't answer.
At the end she fights this brain and it controls her head, she could feel it squeezing her brain.
We also see many scenes of Unicorns
