oops i missed this bit when i signed up initally.
I'm a 19yr old guy from North London studying for my A levels. I like to do a lot of reading and have started writing a collection of short stories. I haven't been able to do much of either recently though coz of the exam period. But that's all over now and i'm free to sit on my arse and read all the books i've bought but not got around to reading yet :)
 
Hello and welcome to the forum!! Hope your exams went well and you're enjoying your summer of reading. Beware, though, you may find your list of books to read grows to ridiculous proportions through reading this forum... it's a nice problem, though :p

Just curious, why are you learning Norwegian of all the different languages in the world? :)
 
i chose Norwegian for a number of reasons 1) i like colder weather and would love to visit the place (i've seen pictures of the scenery) 2)I'm interested in scandinavian folklore and history 3) I want to see Ibsen's work in it's original language and 4) girlfriend (ex-girlfriend now :( ) spoke fluent swedish and since the languages are similar... well u get the idea.
