I love to read literary stuff but also have a yen for good commercial fiction.
I am currently reading Anne Tyler's Noah's Compass. I like many (although not all) of Anne Tyler's work. I particularly like "Dinner At The Homesick Restaurant." As a mother something she says in that book rings true. She decides to have more than one child as insurance. I didn't consciously do that but I know what she means.
