Hi Everyone

My name is Linda White and I live in Davenport, Florida. I am a retired graphic designer (but still do some pro bono work for church and charitable organizations) and full-time housewife.

For years I had been wanting to write a book set in historic St. Augustine, Florida and finally got around to it a couple years ago. It was recently published and now I am facing the monumental task of getting out there and marketing it. I know I have to do some signings and consider it an opportunity to get over my innate shyness. (Any advice from you veteran writers is greatly appreciated.)

Thanks and blessing to all who read this.

Hi Linda, it's a long road that we walk, hehe. Marketing books is not an easy ordeal. I've done a number of book signings in the past. From large ventures at comic cons to book store tours going from book store to book store. While they were fun in some ways they were very disappointing in others. I wish I knew the answer but all in all it appears that answer is tied up in hard work and lots of your time. I wish you luck...
