Thank you for your kind welcomes. I do enjoy reading varied non-fiction, but mainly find myself reading 20th & 21st century literature / novels. This is why I thought this would be a particularly good forum.
I grew up reading horror, fantasy, and science fiction - and still enjoy these genres today, albeit not as regularly as I once did. I especially enjoy dystopian fiction set in a near, believeable future. And I have read a lot of transgressive fiction over the years - Brett Easton Ellis, Hubert Selby Jr, Irvine Welsh, etc.
