Hello everyone, I hope you can help me but I couldn't find anywhere to ask about this.

im after buying jumbo sized books for interiors, like coffee tables or if large enough to stand in a corner.

Ive scoured the net and cant seem to find anywhere to ask so id thought id try you guys. The book can be about anything with full page glossy photos of Tattoos or buildings, graphic design pics, wierd photos anything really just aslong as the book is huge.

Would you guys have any suggestions where i could get such books from? on the net or shop? Or a webpage that would be good for asking ?

If you live in the U.S., go to Barnes & Noble into their discount section. They have lots of large coffee table style books for cheap. I've seen some very large books there.

Do they maybe ship overseas or take orders online?

Thanks for the fast reply, we did have it seems. I just went to search for them online and got this....

Borders are currently no longer operating within the UK. To help you find the best priced books for people in the UK we have selected our top recommended book stores.

Their recommendations were Amazon UK, not the best. I tried searching Amazon but I am proberbly searching with the wrong words. I'm using the only words I know about this type of book and that they are varying degrees of the word "folio" ?

Is there a better search word to use?

Oh. Yeah. Forgot about that.

Search Amazon for "coffee table books" and maybe narrow it down to travel and then sort by price and see what you can find.

Another thing you could do is find a local used book dealer and tell them what you want and they might have something for you.

Atlases tend to be pretty big. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a big one.

Barnes & Nobel at one point had for around $10 a very large book that was a Civil War atlas.

Everything is always available in US lol

I've been searching the net since yesterday , got sidetracked for a few hours when I started seeing the pads coming out. Looking for a honeycomb HTC one but seems the only one that's out soon is the flyer on gingerbread?

Anyhows I haven't found a lot for the books, the ones from Amazon don't tell you the sizes just "coffee table book". So am taking your other piece of advice and phoning some bookshops. First on my list is Waterstones.

Hi, lol you did better in searching in a few mins than I did all day.

Those are nice but I'm looking for something bigger if possible?

Money isn't that much of an issue, I guess I can go to £500.00 budget wise for the right one.

Ideally it would be quite thick and heavy with lots of full page glossy photos of interesting stuff like tattoos, strange pictures, journalists photos from around the world.

I want the book to be 1-3 feet high so it can be stood up in a room more as an ornament if you get my drift?

Not sure my budget is enough for this type of thing?
