I Read romances, but ive rather found i read them, because they have humor and lots of wit.

Examples: Lisa Kleypas, Sherrilyn Kenyon... Hmm, mind drawing a blank. Drats, waking up at four in the morning.. xD

I mean, I highly enjoyed the Boxcar Children, Nancy Drew, Hardy boys, as a kid, but it has been a long while.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried Sue Grafton's novels? They are quite popular and funny. I also think Tim Dorsey's Serge A. Storms books are great. They are much more inappropriate than your examples, but are always surprising and funny.
