Welcome to the forum What Genres and Authors do you like?

I'm a big fan of historical fiction (Edward Rutherfurd, Phillipa Gregory), but I also read lots of modern lit as well as an occasional romance or mystery novel. However, the best book I've read this year so far is a non-fiction selection called Sudden Sea by R. A. Scotti, which is about the Great Hurricane of 1938.
