I have came up with this idea for a novel, and i would like some feedback on the structure and ideals of the plot. If you dont have anything nice to say, please say it clearly.
ok the main setting is in present day belton texas. its the story of Yellow Flower, a little native american boy who is caught up in some risky business. As he thinks to himself, "i Dont belong here", he longs to escape his prison of a home, in search of his real father. One night as it is raining, he decides to depart. He does so quietly, passing his unconscious drunken parents on the rose red sofa. He waits at a bus stop, but is struck in the forehead by a piece of hail the size of a nilla waifer. When he wakes up, he is chained to one of six support posts in a strangers basement, and he is not wearing the same clothes. He escapes the chains by summoning Tattered Feather, lord of the Illustrious Arts. HIs journey continues and he meets several colorful characters, such as a speaking pigeon who provides helpful advice, moral support, and adult entertainment when the time is appropriate, the spirit of an Afro American woman who used to sell plastic silverware and diaries in a little cornershop she owned in Southern Wisconsion, and many more. He finally comes to find out who his real dad was, but is devastated when he learns that he had two homosexual fathers. As he apporaces the branch he planned on hanging himself from, he sees one of his two dads in the distance. The father, not knowing that his real son is in front of him, asks his son if he needs help tying the noose. They thanks eachother and he hangs himself. The novel would end to when he impregnated one the the colorful characters mentioned earlier, and this would hint a sequel.
~thanks for the help and support. I do have friends.
this is not a joke i really want feedback.
