Important: No Mosque near ground zero! You might as well spit in the faces of the 911 families if such a structure is erected.
Right, you are obviously having a hard time understanding what you are gibbering about. Let me make it easier for you.
Firstly, there is
nothing wrong with building a mosque on the site of Ground Zero. Because a small number of people conspired to destroy some buildings and take lives does not mean that a whole religion should be tarred or have anger vented at it. Behind the veneer of religion, the causes are irreligious. Anyway, to talk of being proud Americans and saying America does not need such a slap in the face as a mosque would be, in effect, un-American because, as your beloved Constitution says, in Amendment 1:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
To argue against a mosque would be a personal crusade (and who cares what the individual thinks?) as the Constitution - what makes America America - allows the practice of Islam and therefore a mosque is as valid an idea as any.
However, all this is not the point. What the conversation is about is how stupid or evil Fox is with respect to an article on one of its shows. The debate here is not about the channel and any perceived political bias it has on a day to day basis. On the show in question Fox were giving it their usual bluster concerning the threat against America and no doubt how socialism is bad and how America should really just be all white sheets and lynchings, just like them good ol' days. So, Fox would be trying to incite outrage in its viewership about the possibility of a mosque being built on the site of Ground Zero. However, the piece on Fox neglected to mention that one of the biggest shareholders in Fox's parent company is also the man behind the building of the proposed mosque at Ground Zero. So, the guys in the video are asking if Fox are being stupid by not mentioning this connection or are just being evil for not mentioning it. Either way, it's a pertinent detail that should have been mentioned.
Now, this is probably too much for you to process, AquaBlue, so I duly await your complete dismissal of my efforts here to say that liberals can all go choke on balls, or something.
I take umbrage at your earlier stupidity here, when you say to me:
AquaBlue said:
Are you an American? No. Hence you do NOT vote in this nation. Therefore how worthy is your opinion?
No, I'm not an American. I do not vote in your nation. I do not see how this would invalidate my opinion on Fox News. I can switch my television over to that channel and watch it whenever I want. In fact, Malini Walkes is talking from Iraq right now. Is she an Iraqi? Does she even vote in that country? Perhaps I should dismiss her report. Daft!
