Jim Carey (Split from Spanglish)

Ah. Good man!

I loved him at the MTV Movie Awards some time ago, when he was dressed up as music producer Rick Rubin (I believe) - I had a good laugh over that.

I did see the Truman Show ... JC did was mug, with his usual 'Gee whiz, I'm so innocent' face interspersed with his 'Gee whiz, what's going on' face.
You do realise that the 'I'm so innocent' and 'What's going on'-facial expressions were the entire point of the film, right?

Cheers

my point is, I like jim carrey. dumb and dumber cracks me up. you can't teach what he does.
No doubt. I've never seen an interview with him where the host could keep him on topic. He's too damn silly.

"Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?" That's one of my favorite episodes, bob.

The only thing I liked Jim Carrey in was "In Living Color" and the movie "Doing Time on Maple Drive". After a while, he started to irritate me-he does the same mugging in every movie he makes. I can't stand to watch him in anything anymore, he strikes me as a mentally disturbed person who cannot show his natural personality anymore, I've never seen him on a talk show for instance, where he has not mugged or done something to get a laugh. He just creeps me out.

Is that the time when he was completely in character with long hair and full beard and mustache, with a tie die t-shirt on?

That was brilliantly superb. Awesome.

what just happened there with your double posting. are you carrying on a conversation with yourself?

ahhh, I hit some unknown combination of keys and crap and before I could fart I had double posted....

typing fingers and mind not connected I guess...I'd like to say it won't happen again, but hey...I'm me, and that's a promise I can't keep.

well it's friday. you are likely thinking of taking your bike out for a tear, weather permitting.

That was it - it was hilarious.

I like Jim Carrey. I know he can be just a complete odd ball but hey it's fun. Some mindless entertainment is good for the soul sometimes! I think Ace Ventura wa a great romp and the same for a bunch of his movies

I think he did really well in The Majestic and The Truman Show. he does kind of have the same persona in both but most actors have the some character in all their movies.
