Just a touch in time
Just a small little moment
Like cement on a sidewalk
As permanent as can be
Though never touching anyone but you and me
It isn’t hard to see
You and I are going to be
Friends for eternity
Making memories to fill a lifetime
The good and the bad
Through the happy and the sad
Just a little moment
You and me
As happy as can be
Knowing you’re there for me
And the times are passing and we’re growing apart
But I’ll always find you in my heart
In my dreams we’re still little schoolgirls
You’re the prim and pretty one
I’m the selfish and silly one
Never-ever seen apart
Just a touch in time
