i bet you didn't miss anything. i was completely baffled by this film. i enjoyed it regardless. i loved that little creepy man. "i'm in your house right now." music was awesome, too.
Perhaps I didn't miss anything but this is the first Lynch movie I have seen were I didn't even have a good guess. But I love the Lynch movies I have seen so far, so I'm sure I'll watch it again.

Last seen Million Dollar Baby. Not sure if it's the story I like or if it is just because Morgan Freeman is also the narrator, but it's a great movie.

I do sometimes lie, yes, but I thought Finding Neverland was nothing more than your typical Hollywood flick. Pretty boring too.

I just purchased master of the flying guillotine from suncoast. I'd read somewhere that tarantino got a lot of the ideas for kill bill from this film. it looks pretty cewl. the package says, "it combines eye-popping visuals, unforgettable characters, incredible fight sequences, a spectacular electronic soundtrack and one of the most notorious weapons in film history. are you ready to take on the MASTER OF THE FLYING GUILLOTINE?" I can't wait...

Just watched The Last Samurai. Silly movie as I thought which is why I waited for it to come on cable.

yeah, what more do you expect from a collection of over-used movie clichés and stereotypes? that said, the last samurai sucked ballz.

bad tom cruise! very bad!

Well, I didn't pay for it but I thought I'd give it a gander. Whew...

Not as bad as Eyes Wide Shut. That was porn disguised as an object of cinematic greatness.

I don't know, I thought it was great. maybe you saw something that wasn't there? or then again, maybe you didn't see what kubrick was exploring beneath the surface of the film... hence the title, eyes wide shut. this sexual fetishism that he uses, the orgies, the prostitution, the "porn"; all of that is, in a sense, the thing you're not supposed to being seeing, but it's revealed to you through a voyeur. literally, through a mask. this thing is the other side of the world that the rich and powerful represent. behind the pleasantries and mannerisms. it's just something that the film explores.

Yes, *sigh* I know. MEN explain this to me constantly. I was fairly annoyed at the whole thing and I am greatly into erotica type things. Ah well. As they say, different strokes...

hahaha that's funny. and true...

we watched kinsey last night and i liked it. i know very little about this man so it was interesting however i am curious how many liberties the studio took with his biography. i love liam neeson, i thought he was wonderful and laura linney, whew, she was fabulous. i think the most telling thing was many of the sexual misconceptions and problems that he was tackling are still soooooo prevalent today. it seems to be a case of one step forward, 3 steps back.
great film, well acted, male and female nudity, humour and sadness. 2 thumbs up and a twirl.

finally watched 'wall street'.....hmm, not so much, but was one of those movies everyone says 'oh you should see'..so i saw...most of it anyway..i think

Resident Evil: Apocalypse - Zombies, good looking chicks, blood 'n gore, and a shitload of weapons; what's not to like?!

Cheers

the acting. blech!

watched traffic on nbc last night. it was all cut up but still a great film. i love benicio, there is just something about him. this movie scares the shit out of me. the storyline with michael douglas and his daughter. god.

You say it like it's a bad thing. The Pulp Fiction-esque sequencing is one of the best things the film has going for it. You should try 21 Grams - even better than Traffic.

Cheers

Watched Harvie Krumpet and Flatlife again yesterday. Too bad they don't show shorts on TV much.

no no cut up for television. all the swear words and anything too graphic, all taken out. i love how it is shot, it's brilliant.
i know i still haven't seen 21 grams. i'm put off by naomi watts, but i will see it.

Uh, yuck! I get mad just for "them" translating panels in movies and such.
