Late Night Reading

12:30 in the morning (can't recall the book I was reading, though). I get tired easily so I doubt I'd be able to stay up as late as 6:00 am just to continue reading a book.

I get tired easily as well - I'm generally in bed/asleep by 11pm. The latest I've stayed up to read is probably around midnight. I just can't keep my eyes open if I try to go any later than that, and I have trouble focusing on what the words actually mean (I find myself re-reading a majority of the sentences a few times) :D

I'm a huge insomniac, so in the past I've been up until 4 or 5am, reading. I just started my new job last month, so I haven't done it lately.. I'm so exhausted on the weekends, that I haven't stayed up past midnight.

I was up until midnight last night reading The Lovely Bones. Goooood book. I read from 9-midnight. I had a hard time putting it down, but I had to be up at 5:30am for work.

I've often stayed up until 5 or 6 in the morning (I often have insomnia) in order to finish a book. The last one was the very last book I finished: The Great and Secret Show by Clive Barker. It bothered my boyfriend (who was trying to sleep), that I had to go downstairs and continue there...I just couldn't stop!

Another time I remember vividly was when I picked up my copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince...I read it in one sitting, which went very late into the night!

Probably 1 - 2am, but that's only because I'm not working. When I'm working, I make sure I'm in bed by midnight, otherwise I'll seriously regret it in the morning.

Well after the fourth Harry Potter book came out, a friend of mine and I made a tradition to have sleepovers the very night they hit the shelves. Ever since we've stayed up all night reading them and had to see who would finish first.

When the sixth book came into our lives, we were shipped off to bed at 9. We didn't go to bed til 10 AM. 13 hours... It was so worth it though. We also had like one third of our weight in caffeine rushing through our bodies so... that probably helped.

Tonight looks like another sleepless one. Insomnia blows. Ooh well...I do have my books. :D

Maybe they'll be dull chapters; I need to catch a few Zzzz's. Grrr.

Yeah I've stayed up a complete night without sleeping. I think I ended up falling asleep around 1 in the afternoon without sleeping the night before. I was reading Watership Down and I was nearing the end and I couldn't put it down. However, I have a horrible sleeping schedule.

I can usually pull all-nighters. I often stay up past 6am after being in bed since midnight. It's nice and comfortable. But once the sun starts coming up & it begins to light up the room, it feels like the atmosphere is ruined for reading and that's when I stop.

Yep, kind of is for vampires.:p ;) :D

Tonight is yet another night of sleeplessness. All I've been doing is reading, and reading some more. The worse thing is that tomorrow I am going to work on a roof for a few hours. Let me tell you, down here, the sun warms the afternoons like hot coals in a blazing oven. I am going to get sleepy and the dreadful heat are both going to kill me come tomorrow. Oh insomnia why must you linger? Let me rest my mind and body in order to have energy in the morning. :(
