What happens next:

Recommedners: Based on the information the particpants were sent, recommend a book or two that you think your person may enjoy. Try and have the recommendations sent out by Aug 20 or so.


Recommendees: You have until the end of November to read the book that has been recommended to you and post in this thread the following information:

  • what book was recommended?
  • did you finish the book? If not, why not. (there is no shame for not finishing)
  • did you like it?
  • would you be interested in reading more of that genre/author?


That's it!


If this goes over well then we will take a small break until Feb 2011 then start again on a quarterly basis.

Poor Litany. Was her book swapping wish ever fulfilled?
 
I am surprisingly gin-less, and the roads are very quiet due to some sort of snow activity. And I am too drunk to read a book. I figure annoying you is the next best thing.
 
Sorry. I must have missed it. I'm ignoring a lot of threads a The Hen House at the moment.
 
Do we have the full list of who was supposed to recommend for who?

Can we find out who hasn't received a recommendation yet and maybe those people (myself included) could recommend to each other?
