So i have read a lot of Fantasy books in my life but i am trying to find the book that started it all for me. its been so long and i have memory problems due to an accident and cant remember the title or the author. i do remember that it was a series altho i dont remember how many books. It was kind of like Narnia in the fact that one of the main characters maybe the main walked through a door way and into another world. A Prominent name i remember is Gael altho i dont remember if thats exactly how you spell it. i remember something about a man with Red hair "i think" that ends up being the boys father. i remember a dungeon and a cloak and a pendant that turned them invisible. i remember a book in the story that had a very specific significance. something else that may or not be from this book i cant remember but a cabin door on a ship that ended up being one of the gateways. i think it definitely had a "christian" aspect kind of like Narnia Gael being a prince or a king or something. i tried to give as much information as i can remember. please help me find this it would mean a lot.
