Looking for old book!

Im looking for an old book called:Old war(i think) from what i know the book was on weather or something. Both my Grandparents were talking about it so it could be pretty old anyways I live in Ireland Ive no clue who the author is and if its an Irish book

If anyone has any info on this reply please! and as soon as possible because i want it for a christmas present for my grandad

Do you perhaps mean "weather lore" - in which case search on Amazon for something. There are lots of titles.
