Looking for Suspense but no Horror

I found I love suspense novels but at the same time I don't want horror.

Any Suggestions?

Have you read "Chasing the Falconers" by Gordon Korman, its not horror and there is quite abit of suspense plus tis is one of my favorite books.
I cant remember how many books there are in this series but there is a sequel to the series called Kidnapped by the same auther

I really enjoy suspense books too. It usually seems my eyes can't read fast enough and I'm always looking for ways to sneak in a few more pages.
